They asked for a
normal family photo…

Welcome to the neighborhood

Coneheads is one of those cult classics that stuck with me — weird, hilarious, and just the right kind of unhinged. It definitely warped my taste early on, in the best way.

When Andrew, Jasmine, and Aya were visiting from Iowa, they asked for a simple family photo. I had something else in mind — and luckily, they were totally up for it!

I built a small garden set in my studio: picket fence, blue backdrop, grass carpet, flowers, props, and a few easter eggs. Costumes were ordered, cones were fitted, and it all came together.

Huge thanks to Luliia Tantsorova and Merche Moriana for helping bring the final images to life through retouching.

Delivered with love

I printed a set of the final images and had them delivered to their home.
Aya’s reaction was everything!
